Madonna Returns to Chicago

The Material Girl is going on a limited engagement "Confessions Tour" this summer, and Chicago is fortunate enough to be one of the stops on June 15-16, 2006. Like a lot of major music acts, Madonna is appearing at Chicago's United Center, the biggest indoor arena in the country.

I'm embarrassed to say this, but I'm old enough to remember when Madonna first broke big and made black leggings and jelly bracelets all the rage. Now she has reinvented herself as a dance club diva, leggings are "retro" and making a comeback, and I feel like I should apply for my AARP card. In any case, even approaching 50 years old Madonna still knows how to work it, and if her past tours are any indication the show will be quite an extravaganza. So if you're going to be in Chicago around Father's Day, treat dad with some choice Madonna tickets instead of a goofy tie.
