Leonardo da Vinci -- Go Beyond the Paintbrush
Who is Leonardo da Vinci? If you answered, "the main character of The DaVinci Code," then you, my friend, need to immediately go visit the new exhibit at the Museum of Science and Industry. Leonardo da Vinci -- Man, Inventor, Genius opens today, and is a fascinating look at Leonardo's life and inventions.
Exploring beyond his famous paintings such as the Mona Lisa, the exhibit puts on display Leonardo's prolific inventing mind. Being shown are over 60 models built from his original drawings, and several "hands-on" exhibits such as model bridges, a working catapult, machine replicas, and a digital simulation of Leonardo's sketchbook. This is a temporary exhibit, so make sure to plan a visit before it's too late.
