Adopt-a-Dog at the Hotel Burnham

Monday August 21, 2006

The dog days of summer may be officially over, but that's not stopping the Hotel Burnham. To celebrate National Dog Day on August 26, 2006, from 8 a.m. - 10 a.m. the Hotel Burnham is inviting all our canine friends down to meet their new mascot "Burnie" (someone stayed up all night thinking up that name), and enjoy a Frosty Paw frozen treat! Also, representatives from PAWS (Pets Are Worth Saving) will be on hand with some of their puppies that are looking for a new home.

The Hotel Burnham and its sister property the Hotel Monaco are also offering the "PAWS Accomodation Package", with 10 percent of the proceeds directly benefiting PAWS. Both hotels are extremely pet friendly, with no size limit. And if you didn't bring your pet and are missing something to nurture, the Hotel Monaco will even loan you a goldfish for your room.

  • What: Adopt-a-Dog Day
  • Where: Hotel Burnham, 1 West Washington (Washington & State)
  • When: August 26, 2006, 8 a.m. - 10 a.m.
