Chicago Baseball Promotions and Giveaways - June 2007

The free stuff and cool events at our beloved ball parks keeps rolling on -- here are the baseball promotions at Wrigley Field and U.S. Cellular Field for the month of June, 2007:

• Friday, June 1 -- Majestic Derrek Lee 2007 home jersey, 100 random winners
• Saturday, June 2 -- Cubs Travel Mug, first 10,000 fans
• Sunday, June 3 -- Children's home batting helmet, first 5,000 fans age 13 and younger
• Tuesday, June 12 -- Country Music Night
• Wednesday, June 13 -- Ernie Banks "14" player number cap, first 10,000 fans
• Friday, June 15 -- Cubs key chain, first 10,000 fans age 21 and older (because people younger than that have no use for keys, I guess)
• Sunday, June 17 -- Cubs Sharpie day, first 10,000 fans (should make for some interesting graffiti around the park)
• Tuesday, June 26 -- Majestic Michael Barrett 2007 home jersey, 100 random winners
• Wednesday, June 27 -- Cubs bat day, first 5,000 fans, age 13 and younger
• Friday, June 29 -- Autographed Alfonso Soriano photo, 500 random winners

• Tuesday, June 5 -- Sox Pride Pepsi Tuesday, fans have the chance to win 2008 season tickets and a one year supply of Pepsi (dentist bills not included)
• Wednesday, June 6 -- Win-a-Jersey Wednesday, an autographed jersey will be given away to 15 random winners
• Friday, June 8 -- Mullet Night and Fireworks, it's business in the front and a party in the back, as fans show off their hockey hair.
• Saturday, June 9 -- Negro League Tribute
• Monday, June 18 -- Motorola MOTORAZR Monday, 100 fans can get the White Sox logo engraved on their Motorola phone(!?)
• Tuesday, June 19 -- Sox Pride Pepsi Tuesday
• Wednesday, June 20 -- Win-a-Jersey Wednesday & Seniors Stroll the Bases (yes, it's what it sounds like)
• Friday, June 22 -- Cubs Series, One Million Dollar Pitch (no details available, but presumably you have a long shot at winning a million dollars by pitching)
