Fog Completely Shuts Down Midway Airport

Wow, we're having one weird batch of weather in the Windy City. After a heavy snowstorm caused delays at both of Chicago's main airports last Friday, today has been plagued by rain, lightning and fog. In fact, the fog is so dense that all flights coming in and going out of Midway Airport have been canceled until at least 4:00 p.m. today. Things are only slightly better over at O'Hare, where it's up and running but they still had to cancel over 300 flights.

So obviously if your travel plans involve a flight to or through Chicago in the next 24 hours, make sure to check with your airline on flight status. On second thought, make that 48 hours.
