Black Friday Bargain Hunting

Friday November 28, 2008
Now that you're through with all that "turkey", "family", and "giving thanks" nonsense, it's time to get down to business. It's nice that you flew into town to visit Grandma, but we need to START SHOPPING. You know, economic stimulus and all. The hordes descend on Chicago's shopping malls the day after Thanksgiving, otherwise known as "Black Friday", and if you like saving a bundle like my wife does (I'm certainly not complaining about less of a drain on our bank account in this economy), you might want to head out to her favorite spots -- Chicago's three outlet malls. These malls have name brand stuff at great prices, and offer a staggering amount of discount shopping square footage. People pay a visit to these outlet malls from all over -- you'll quite often see a large number of tour buses in the parking lot.
