Museum of Science and Industry Free Days 2011:
Chicago's Museum of Science and Industry has a number of free days throughout the year when they waive the general admission for visitors (special exhibits may require a separate admission fee). Keep in mind that there's a trade-off, however -- while you might get in free, these days are obviously very popular so you'll likely be dealing with some big crowds. No such thing as a free lunch, as the old saying goes.
