About the Trump International Hotel Chicago:
One of the latest additions to the Chicago skyline, the Trump International Hotel and Tower rises up above the Chicago River at the south end of the Magnificent Mile. The striking stainless steel and glass building is hard to miss, and its location provides sweeping city and lake views.
The luxury hotel features 339 rooms and suites tastefully decorated with contemporary furnishings -- Donald Trump's penchant for gold-plated items has fortunately been left behind -- and have floor-to-ceiling windows to fully take advantage of the aforementioned views. Rooms have two unique features not generally found in downtown Chicago hotels -- a fully-equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances and a fireplace. The bathrooms are tastefully decorated with limestone and have a soaking tub, shower, and custom vanities which have an "in-mirror" television. Other amenities include free wireless internet and a 42-inch flat screen high definition television.
The hotel property continues the luxury of the rooms. The Spa at Trump features a large number of services to help you relax and rejuvenate. Rebar, the hotel's lounge, is a great spot to kick back with a cocktail and take in the Chicago River view. Sixteen (named such because it's on the 16th floor) is a fine dining restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner with white tablecloth level service and prices to match.
The Trump International Hotel and Tower Chicago has 20,000-square-feet of function space including a large ballroom, two boardrooms, and five salons. The hotel also provides business catering and high-end telecommunications systems, and along with its proximity to Chicago's business district makes it a good choice for a corporate event.
The Trump International is obviously not for the budget-conscious, but if you're looking to spend your stay in Chicago in style, you should certainly put it on your list for consideration.
