Brookfield Zoo gets into the holiday season with "Holiday Magic", when the zoo decorates with almost a million lights, a laser light show, carolers, storytellers and more.

Brookfield Zoo, 1st Avenue and 31st Street, Brookfield, Illinois

December 5-6, 12-13, 19-20, 26-31, 2009
Time:
4:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. (exhibit buildings close at 8:30 p.m., Tropic World closes at 7:30 p.m.)
Admission:
Regular zoo admission applies: Adults (12-64), $11; Seniors (ages 65+), $7; Children (ages 3-11), $7; Children 2 and under, free; Members, free.
Getting to Holiday Magic By Public Transportation:
The Metra Rail Burlington Northern line runs from Union Station downtown to the "Zoo Stop" (Hollywood) station and from there it is only a 2 block northeast walk to the zoo.
Parking at Holiday Magic:
Regular Brookfield Zoo rates apply: $8 for cars/vans, $10.75 for buses. Members park free.
