Chicago Chinese New Year Parade in Brief:

The Chinese New Year Parade celebrates the Lunar New Year (this year it is the "Year of the Dragon 4710") and marches right through the middle of Chicago's Chinatown.

Along Wentworth from 24th Street to Cermak Road

Getting to the Parade by Public Transportation:

CTA Red Line Train to Cermak-Chinatown stop

Parking at the Parade:

There is very limited street parking (off the parade route of course) and two paid lots at 21st/Wentworth and 24th/Wentworth. These lots are guaranteed to fill up quickly and early.

Taxi/Cab to Parade:

A taxi from downtown to Chinatown will run between $10-15.
