Baboon Island, located just behind Tropic World at the south end of the zoo, is home to almost 40 guinea baboons that spread out all over the rock formation. Baboons are the largest monkeys in the world -- the males can weigh up to 60 pounds, and females up to 30. They have large canine teeth, and are not animals to be messed with. And of course your kid will not care about any of this and will laugh and point at their bright pink rear ends.
